Our client is looking for a qualified candidate to fulfill the role of Global OEM Hydraulic Sales Engineer.  Work with a worldwide industry leader being part of an experienced international team that focuses on a global vision and core values which will offer you growth and continued opportunity. 
TERRITORY:   South of Milwaukee, WI

  • Present all units of the Company to customers
  • Promote multi-level relationships between the company and the customer from top management all the way down to the working level
  • Create new business projects between the customer and the Company and from a global perspective, follow on-going projects from contracts that are long term being a good decision for the Company in order to work with the customer
  • Oversee all commercial negotiations with the customer with the support of Application and Project Engineering
  • Ensure all business items are taken care of throughout the entire project process with the customer which is inclusive of  long term contracts, separate agreements, warranty, price, payment, shipment, price indexes, after market prices
  • Stay up to date with organizational changes with the customers company
  • Confirm main customer requirements are fulfilled to promote and maintain agreement between the customer and the Company
  • On a regular basis, visit all worldwide customer decision centers, which may include: manufacturing plants, engineering or purchasing centers where business with the Company is possible
  • Keep a list of machines for potential business for the Company to include information about competitive products and scheduled redesigns
  • Manage conflicts that may arise with customers which may include queries, claims and warranty
  • Network with local sales engineers who follow various plants of the customer on a daily basis
  • Obtain targets set by management which include gross margin targets, price increases, customer visits, management of cash
  • Degree in Engineering
  • 5-25 years Engineering Industry experience
  • Sales of Industrial Goods in an International Environment
  • Project and Product Management
  • P2 Expert
  • Office Suite
  • Ability to travel frequently
