Summary: The Product Manager, Technical and Marketing will be responsible for the product line (lubricants) as a business unit from strategic planning to tactical activities,
work closely with all divisions, supports the development of marketing strategy including:
Finding new markets for current products
Developing new products to meet market needs
Setting strategies to improve profit margins
Drive a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
Supports Tech & Marketing team to coordinate label/artwork development and closely work with the cross-functional team and challenge them to ensure on-time delivery.
Communicate information about new technologies, product developments and industry requirements to customers and appropriate associates
Understanding of North American OEM and Aftermarket
Experience and familiarity with managing datasets in ACES and PIES as well as retail ERPs like EPICOR is highly preferred
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
May supervise subordinates job results by leading, coaching and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry preferred
Minimum 5 - 8 years of appropriate lubricant or related industry experience including 3 - 5 years product sales management experience.
