The Plastics Field Sales Engineer is responsible for achieving the sales goals of a defined range of the company’s Industrial Process Control products in the territory of IL, WI, & MN. Some occasional trips to Switzerland for training. Identifies and penetrates OEM and plastics processing companies and coordinates strategy with the Sales Manager. He/she will visit customer sites, identify projects and instrumentation requirements, provide advice on appropriate applications and sell those company products Also be responsible to develop and implement a sales strategy in conjunction with the Sales Manager.
What we are looking for in a Candidate:
Experience in the application of pressure sensors, associated electronics, software and controls of plastics processing equipment to measure, evaluate and control machine function to achieve process optimization.·
Experience and knowledge of process controls for injection molding machines
Knowledge of plastics processing auxiliary equipment and tool design a plus.
Knowledge of plastic and composite materials.
Bachelor Degree in appropriate engineering discipline from a (4) year college preferred plus 2-3 years of experience in plastics sales or process engineering.
Associates degree (A.A.S.) in Engineering Technology or equivalent from an accredited two-year college and 5+ years’ experience in plastics sales engineering or process engineering.
Working remotely in the following states:
IL, WI, or MN
