SALES ENGINEER.
The SE can be located in Portland or N, CA and is responsible for providing technical & sales support for enterprise accounts in assigned territory (WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD). Perform technical presentations. Assist in the development of formal sales plans and proposals. Actively participate in product requirements and direction. Prefer bachelors degree. Experience must be 5+ years related experience and strong knowledge of Cisco type products in key competitor offerings. Pre-Sales technical support experience required. Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in the following areas: IP Routing, Ethernet Switching, VoIP, IP Telephony, VPN, Security, 802.11 WiFi, Remote Access, Voice/Video, LAN and WAN, and Transmission Systems. Knowledge of relevant solution sets, product specifications, performance criteria and end user applications. Competitive knowledge including solutions, technology and product offerings. Extensive travel required (60% or more). Desirable Certifications: CCNA or CCDA required. ATSP, CCNP, CCDP, or CCIE desirable. No relo as client wants SE familiar with Enterprise customers in the territory.
