Overview:
Our client is an international firm with diversified businesses, one of which is medical devices. They currently manufacture and sell orthopedic implant castings (reconstructive and spine) in Europe and they want to develop a presence in the United States. Your task will be to develop a strategy to improve their US presence and then implement it. Our first choice is for you to be located in Northern IN but that is not a requirement, you could operate out of your home office most anywhere in the continental United States. You will report to a manager in Europe.
Your background:
* You must already have a proven sales background in medical devices. We would prefer if you have experience selling to companies that manufacture medical devices, in automotive terms my client wants to be Tier II; so if you have experience representing a sub contractor to a medical device manufacturer please let us know that when you apply.
* Bachelor degree
* Prefer Engineering degree or at least strong mechanical knowledge / aptitude so you can understand products and applications.
