Job Description:

This new position is a hybrid of sales and engineering, providing technical expertise to our sales team and clients. Must be technically savvy, highly motivated, and self-directed. Employee will support the sales team by owning the technical portion of the client relationship and assist in driving prospects to closure. Ability to conduct online product demonstrations, answer technical questions, contribute to proposals, and analyze client needs to provide technical solutions is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as an integral part of the sales team to drive business development
  • Own the technical portion of the client relationship and drive prospects to closure
  • Analyze client needs and provide technical solutions
  • Prepare and offer technical solutions during the RFP process
  • Become the technical subject matter expert and thoroughly understand products, features, functions, and benefits while being able to share with all levels of organization and clients.
  • Communicate the value of our technology to prospective clients
  • Create and present online demonstrations to clients
  • Interface with the Boxwood executive team to provide feedback, insights and recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Experience participating in the sales and implementation of emerging software solutions
  • Have at least 5-10 years of related technical experience
  • 5+ years of Sales Engineer experience
  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering preferred
  • Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Cold Fusion and SQL Server
  • Strong client interfacing ability
  • Comfort interfacing with employer and client executive levels
