DescriptionThe Technical Sales Representative at Wiese USA will be rewarded for ethical and tenacious pursuit of new business in a complex selling environment. As part of our Systems Integration Group, this Sales Professional will add value for our customers by using engineering expertise to market and sell dock and door industrial equipment and services. To be successful in this consultative sales process, the ideal candidate will have core competencies in the areas of Hydraulic & Controls, Electrical & Controls, blueprint reading and CAD. Wiese is a leader in the sales and service of material handling equipment and warehouse management solutions operating in seven states throughout the Midwest and Mid-South. We are looking for three new Technical Sales Professionals to cover our territories in Kansas City, Memphis and Indianapolis.
Our Technical Sales Representative will:
- Promote continual sales growth
- Develop and provide technical demonstrations and presentations
- Analyze customer specifications to make detailed recommendations
- Work with product engineers to develop technical solutions that meet specific customer needs
- Develop and implement sales strategies following a proven sales process
- Excel at building strong relationships
- Demonstrate superior written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Commit to planning, setting and obtaining sales goals
- Exemplify high ethical and professional standards
- Instill and maintain integrity and confidence with our clients
Job Requirements:
- Engineering Technology degree or bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in sales, field sales proposals, engineering, and/or industrial equipment
- Previous experience selling is a must; selling to the industrial market is a plus
- Attention to detail and proven ability to measure and calculate customer requirements
- Strong leadership talent and history of success working as a member of cross-functional team
