We are part of a global team trading in a wide range of steel products. We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer on a 6-9 month contract basis for our New York office. Responsibilities include analyzing several new structural products for the construction industry; perform comparisons to existing materials and identify benefits and create cost comparisons; assist in obtaining certifications where required; assist in developing marketing materials including brochures, data sheets and presentations to promote materials; collaborate with sales team in making presentations to engineering firms, fabricators and other key construction industry leaders.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree along with 3 years of structural steel experience. Candidates with seismic knowledge preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, and detail orientation are a must.
